The Root of David and the Church of God

The Church of God built by the Root of David has the perfect Passover of the New Covenant Jesus established 2, 000 years ago.

Among many churches that have their own interpretations of the Bible, which church has the correct interpretation of the Bible? The Bible says that only the Root of David has the authority to interpret the Bible. Therefore, we need to go to the church that He established. This is the Church of God!

Root of David, the Only one who can interpret the Bible

Generally, Christians believe any interpretation of the Bible that fits their religious views. In addition to this, it is a given fact that all church denominations have their own standard of faith according to the teachings of the church leader. However, the Bible says that only the Root of David can open the sealed Bible, so anyone’s interpretation of the Bible can’t be perfect.

Revelation 5:1-5 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain…

The above verses explain that the Bible is sealed after Jesus went up to heaven so no one could understand the secret of the Bible. Then who appeared having the authority to interpret the sealed Bible? It is the Root of David!

Doesn’t this mean that only the Root of David can open the mysteries of the Bible? Who is the Root of David?

The Root of David must appear to open the Bible for His people.

Revelation 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

Jesus is the Root of David. Since the Bible is sealed after Jesus went up to heaven, the Root of David mentioned here must be Jesus who comes a second time. This is why the Book of Hosea prophesied that David will appear in the last days.

Hosea 3:5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.

The above prophecy says that David will appear in the last days. At the same time, the book of Revelation says that the Root of David has triumphed to open the sealed Bible in the last days. So it is certain that the Root of David is the Second Coming Jesus.

Then, the church that has the correct interpretation of the Bible is the church established by the Root of David, the Second Coming Jesus, right?

The Perfect Sign of the Root of David

Isaiah 55:3 The everlasting covenant is promised to David.

Jesus is the prophetical David. This is the perfect sign of David, his given proof of identity through which we can recognize the Second Coming Jesus.

What is the everlasting covenant?
This is the covenant established by the blood of Jesus. The following verse explains it.

Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep…

In the Bible, the only covenant that is established by the blood of Jesus is the Passover of the New Covenant.

Matthew 26:17-19 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”… I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’” So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

This is when Jesus celebrated the Passover with his disciples on the evening of the 14th day of the first month.

Matthew 26:26-28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying,“Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

The Passover is the only covenant in the Bible that contains the blood of Jesus. Therefore the everlasting covenant is the Passover of the new covenant.

Isaiah says that God promised the everlasting covenant, the Passover of the New Covenant to David, the Second Coming Jesus who will come in the last days. So the perfect sign through which we can recognize the prophetical Root of David is the Passover of the new covenant.

However, this Passover was abolished at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. This is why although there are numerous church denominations in the world, only the World Mission Society Church of God celebrates the Passover of the new covenant the same way as Jesus did 2,000 years ago.

For about 1,600 years, no one has been able to restore nor celebrate this truth of life.
